The "Convertible"
This is the most exciting thing I have done since the Boot holster. We are calling it "The Convertible". In the picture below the convertible loop is on a Leather Glock holster. But the idea here is that by adding this option to you holster you can wear it in many different positions. Now we're not the first or only maker to do this but, this is a very cost effective way to add functionality to your holster. I have offered the "Roto-Lok" for some time, but it adds $60 to the cost. The Roto-Lok is very cool and it is very easy to change the cant with the push of a button. But we can add "The Convertible" to you new holster for $25. We can add "The Convertible" to virtually any OWB holster.
The basic difference between the Convertible and the Roto-Lok is the ease at which the cant can be changed. As you can see in the Roto-Lok video all you have to do is hold down the release and turn the the holster. With the Convertible you have to loosen the center screw and remove the outside screws, then turn the holster to the desired cant and replace and tighten the screws.
Additionally the Roto-Lok adds about .5 inches to the depth of the holster. This is the distance from the outhide of the holster to you belt. The Convertible adds no width at all. It is simply a movable belt loop.
Then the difference in price. You may choose to add the Convertible loop to you new holster for $25 where the Roto-lok is $60.
Just so you know... I get the Roto-loks from KnifeKits.com and you can too. They sell for $29.99 plus shipping of about $12. So that is about $42 and we get $18 to attach it to the holster. I feel that is a fair amount.
