Boot Holster
The Boot holster is designed to fit inside mid cut boots. The cutout on the clip side of holster allows for a secure fit. As does the actual boot clips. All the edges are finished smooth as not to cause damage to the boot. It works well for Ropers and Engineer Boots. Mid calf and tall boots would not work very well due to the size of the weapon. It would work with a variety of smaller weapons. TCP, LCP, KelTec and any of the “Mouse” guns would work great as a boot gun.
I have been getting a lot of requests for Boot holster for larger pistols. Unfortunately most of them just don't work. So here is a test: take the boot you are going to use and stick the M&P Shield down in there to where the rear of the trigger guard is just below the lip of the boot top. Keep in mind that the holster itself will add 3/16" to 1/4" to the width of the weapon. How does it feel? Can you walk around all day with it in there? The long and short of it is this your weapon is no good to you setting at home. You got to wear it. If it hurts you are not going to, so maybe there is a better option.
If you think it will work, I will build it. But here's the deal If you ignore my recommendation and it does not work for you, you will not be able to return it. I have built several in the past which I expected would not work and I took them back, but at this point I can no longer absorb that cost.
Bert's Boot Lock
The boot holster just keeps gettin' better and better. Why? Because we listen to our customer's wants and needs. In an effort to meet needs we have added a boot holster lock. As you can see by the pictures, the lock consists of a leather strap which is fed through the boot pull loop and snaps at both ends. This simple, but elegant addition is the result of a suggestion by one of our customers "Bert". Bert's Boot Lock will become a standard feature on both the standard and adjustable cant versions of the boot holster.
The Mark – T option
We recently added an adjustment option to the Boot holster. This option allows the end user to move the boot clips up or down in order to change the height and or the cant of the boot holster.
